Synopsis of The Witch
A little girl is seen escaping from a mass murder in a mysterious laboratory carried out by a woman and several of her followers. The woman in question is Dr. Baek (Jo Min Su). One boy who ran away with him was recaptured by Mr. Choi (Park Hee Soon), is still in the same gang as Dr. Fine.
The girl was found by a husband and wife who own a cattle farm in their large yard. After being treated by a doctor, he was declared to have lost his memory because his head had suffered a serious injury. Mr Goo (Choi Jung Woo) and Mrs Goo (Oh Mi Hee) decided to take care of Goo Ja Yoon, the girl’s name. Ten years later Ja Yoon grows into a beautiful teenager who diligently helps take care of Mr Goo’s farm.
Mr Goo’s livestock business is in difficult condition due to low meat prices. Ja Yoon had to secretly go into debt to get feed for his cows. While taking a shower, on the back of her shoulder it was seen that there was some kind of code implanted under her skin, a moment later the girl was attacked by a severe headache.
Synopsis of The Witch: The next day…
The next day Ja Yoon goes to school with Do Myung Hee (Go Min Si). The two of them looked friendly and teased each other by revealing each other’s secrets. Myung Hee knew that her friend was having financial difficulties, so she told Ja Yoon to take part in a special singing talent search event called Star Birth. The prize received was so large that it could be used to save his father’s cattle farm and cure his mother’s illness. Ja Yoon managed to escape to Seoul and appear on TV.
Together with father, mother and Myung Hee they watched Ja Yoon’s performance together. Everything was fun until Ja Yoon was asked to showcase his other talents. That girl can ‘juggle’. Mr and Mrs Goo looked worried.
That evening, Ja Yoon felt another severe headache. Without him realizing, several people were stalking his house from a distance. The next day Ja Yoon accompanied by Myung Hee left for Seoul. On the train, a young man (Choi Woo Shik) who was sitting in front of him laughed at the behavior of the two teenagers. He claims to know Ja Yoon but Ja Yoon doesn’t.
However, the young man was convinced that Ja Yoon knew him. He then did something strange to convince himself that the girl was really Ja Yoon. Ja Yoon’s eyes suddenly filled with tears and her body seemed to freeze. Myung Hee was excited to see her friend being treated like that, a moment later the young man who called Ja Yoon the Witch left them with a suspicious look and smile.
Synopsis of The Witch: Ja Yoon Appears on Television
Ja Yoon appeared on television which was also witnessed by Dr. Baek and Mr. Choi. Both of them immediately realized that Ja Yoon was a little girl who managed to escape several years ago. During the announcement, Ja Yoon managed to get the highest score and advanced to the next round.
When he was about to go home, Ja Yoon felt a headache again. He then remembered the words of the doctor who examined him. According to the doctor, Ja Yoon must be treated immediately otherwise he will only live up to three months. The doctor also told Ja Yoon to look for his biological parents so that a bone marrow transplant could be carried out immediately because only then could he survive.
A Car Filled with Youths Came on the Train
As soon as they arrived outside the building, someone claiming to be from the agency asked for time to talk to Ja Yoon. Luckily, Myung Hee immediately got a taxi and immediately ran away with Ja Yoon. Arriving at their city and waiting for the bus, Myung Hee suddenly wanted to urinate. He left Ja Yoon alone on the side of the road. Not long after, a car containing the young man on the train was in front of him.
The man said inappropriate things about Mr. and Mrs. Goo, which made Ja Yoon panic and run towards the house. Police officer Do Kyung Jang (Kim Byeong Ok), Myung Hee’s father, reprimanded the young man for parking the car in Mr Goo’s yard.
A moment later Ja Yoon and Myung Hee arrived home but found no one except the empty police car. In a different place, Dean Go (Kwon Tae Won), a genetic researcher, is shocked to see his laboratory lit up. He found all his family members dead at the hands of the young man’s group. His life and that of the driver were also lost. Who are they really?
