Synopsis House of 1000 Corpses
Two young couples decide to go on a misguided journey. Through back roads in search of a local legend known as Dr. Satan. But their search ended tragically, now they lost and stranded, and are starting to attacked by a strange family and psychopaths. Murder, cannibalism and other horrific satanic rituals were among the horrors that awaited them.
In his commentary on the DVD version. Rob Zombie revealed that Jake McKinnon (The Professor) couldn’t see clearly when it came to wearing his costume. In a scene where she swings an ax at Denise, her terrible vision could have injured Erin Daniels if she hadn’t moved quickly.
Uniquely, this horror film uses the same location as a film of a different genre, namely The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas (1982).
