Synopsis Dirty Grandpa
Jason Kelly (Zac Efron) is a lawyer who works for his father. Jason’s grandmother dies, and after the funeral, his Army veteran grandfather, Lieutenant Colonel Dick Kelly (Robert De Niro), asks Jason to drive him to Boca Raton, Florida because his driver’s license is suspended. Jason supposed to marry his controlling fiancé Meredith (Julianne Hough) in a week’s time, but he decides to take his grandfather anyway.
On their way there, the two run into Jason’s old photography classmate, Shadia (Zoey Deutch), along with his friends Lenore (Aubrey Plaza) and Bradley (Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman). Dick and Lenore immediately attracted to each other. Dick tells the girls he is a professor and Jason is a photographer. They all part ways, but Dick convinces Jason that they should meet girls in Daytona Beach, Florida, because Dick wants to have sex with Lenore. The two go to a golf course, where Dick seduces two women.

At Daytona Beach, they meet up with the girls and their friends Cody (Jake Picking) and Brah (Michael Hudson) for a beer party. That night, a drunken Jason, wearing nothing but a Hornet fanny pack, is partying and tricked into smoking cocaine given to him by a drug dealer named Pam (Jason Mantzoukas). He steals a motorcycle and wakes up the next day at the beach.
During an awkward FaceTime session with Meredith, a toddler grabs a waist bag and lets go; the boys’ father suspects Jason of being a child molester and calls the police, who arrest Jason immediately. Dick frees him, and the two visit Dick’s old Army friend, Stinky (Danny Glover), at a retirement home. They meet the girls again and enter a body stretching contest with Cody and Brah; when they lose, Dick switches to the T-shirt cannon to shoot beer cans at the winning duo, which causes them to be hospitalized. With Cody and Brah in the hospital, Jason and Dick took their hotel room. After Dick reveals to Jason that he is the Green Beret, the two go to a nightclub with the girls.

Dick fights with several men after they bully Bradley for his homosexuality. The next day, Jason leaves with Shadia and she tells him that she is leaving soon and will stay on the ship for a year. That night, Jason plans to tell Shadia who he really is, but before he can, Cody conducts an online search using information he saw on Dick’s driver’s license (still valid), and tells Shadia that Jason is engaged. Jason later caught red-handed with drugs planted by Cody and Brah, and thrown in jail again.
The next day, Dick released him and told Jason that the real reason for the trip was to convince Jason not to go ahead with the wedding. A disgusted and angry Jason leaves Dick and heads home. During his wedding dress rehearsal, Dick hacks into the computer system, showing embarrassing photos of Jason during the party. Jason says that he cannot marry Meredith, who reveals that he is having an affair with his cousin, and his cousin instead tells him that Meredith has told him to do what he wants to do.
