Synopsis of Transformers 5 – Transformers: The Last Knight is an interesting choice for Trans TV Cinema viewers on Wednesday, August 18, 2021. The fifth film from the Transformers franchise, which released on June 21, 2017, will released at 21.30 WIB if the broadcast time does not change.

This sci-fi action film directed by Michael Bay, who was also the person behind the making of dozens of box office hits such as Transformers (2007), Transformers: Dark of The Moon (2011), The Amityville Horror (2005), Pearl Harbor (2001), and others.

The film, which lasts 2 hours and 34 minutes, still tells about the struggle of Optimus Prime, who works with Earth’s humans to save this planet from alien robots. The screenwriters are Akiva Goldsman, Art Marcum, Marr Holloway, and Ken Nolan.

Continuing the story of the fourth series, Transformers: Age of Extinction, when Optimus Prime meets Quintessa, the creator of the alien robots, this fifth series discusses more about what they were doing back then on the planet Cybertron.

The IMDb page gives a rating of 5.2 out of 10 points based on 141 thousand votes. On the other hand, the film criticism site Rotten Tomatoes only recorded a score of 15 percent for the plot of this film, but the score from the audience was better, namely 43 percent.

The beginning of the film shows the past war that took place in England in 1600 BC, when England fought the Viking troops. Because the British troops were overwhelmed, Merlin the wizard went to ask for help from an ancient robot, who then helped him with a staff to exterminate the flying dragons, giving Merlin and England victory.

The plot of the film then returns to the present, when the city of Chicago destroyed after the Transformers battle against the Decepticon in the fourth series of films. Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg), who is helping a robot that has helped Optimus Prime, given an amulet by the dying robot. The amulet can help Cade in his search for an ancient staff used by British troops in the past.

On the other hand, Megatron, who lost the war, is seen hiding in the ruins of the building. He and the Decepticon troop are now fugitives on Earth. It turns out that Megatron also wants a secret amulet that can summon Cade Yeager’s powerful scepter. With that staff, he felt he could beat Optimus Prime and take Earth.

Optimus Prime himself said to have returned to his planet, Cybertron, in 1600 BC and met Quintessa, the creator of the autobots that exist today. Prime surprised by Cybertron’s badly damaged condition.

At that time, Quintessa and Megatron tricked Optimus Prime into helping Cybertron and repairing their planet. The trick is to find the ‘creation’ wand, whose whereabouts are still a mystery.
