Veronica Mars Film – Is an American teen noir mystery drama television series created by screenwriter Rob Thomas. The series set in the fictional town of Neptune, California, and stars Kristen Bell as the eponymous character. The series premiered on September 22, 2004, during the end of the two-year UPN television network, and ended on May 22, 2007, after the season of UPN’s successor, The CW, aired for three entire seasons. Veronica Mars produced by Warner Bros Television, Perak Pictures Television, Stu Segall Productions, and Rob Thomas Productions. Joel Silver and Rob Thomas were executive producers to run the entire series, while Diane Ruggiero promoted to the third season.

Synopsis of the film Veronica Mars
Season 1
A high school student and private detective in the fictional Southern California beach town of Neptune. As the daughter of respected Sheriff Keith Mars, Veronica’s biggest problem has getting dumped by her boyfriend, Duncan Kane, until the murder of her best friend Lilly Kane. After Lilly’s murder, Veronica’s life falls apart. Keith accuses Lilly’s father, popular software billionaire Jake Kane, of involved in the murder. This incurs the wrath of Neptune and ousts Keith as sheriff in a recall election, replaced by Don Lamb.
Veronica’s mother, Lianne, developed a drinking problem and left town. Veronica’s “09er” friends—rich students from the fictional 90909 ZIP code—force her to choose between them and her father; Veronica chooses her father. After serving as sheriff, Keith opened a private investigation agency, Mars Investigations, where Veronica worked part time. Veronica helps her father solve cases and conducts her own investigations on behalf of friends and acquaintances at school.

Veronica discovers new evidence that shows that Abel Koontz, the man imprisoned after confessing to Lilly’s murder, is innocent. As Veronica digs deeper into the murder case, she also works on other investigations, trying to find her mother’s whereabouts and dealings with her after drugged and raped during the “09er” party. Veronica, no longer part of the school’s rich in-crowd, makes several new friends: Wallace Fennel, Neptune High’s basketball star and freshman; Eli “Beetle” Navarro, leader of the PCHers, a Latino biker gang; and Cindy “Mac” Mackenzie, Neptune High’s resident computer genius.
Using her friends’ resources, as well as those provided by her father and his contacts, Veronica earns a reputation for sleuthing and finds skills in increasingly high demand at her school and in society. Things got more complicated when Veronica fell into a relationship with Lilly’s ex-boyfriend Logan Echolls, who for a time held Veronica partly responsible for Lilly’s death and went out of her way to harass him.
Season 2
The second season begins with the introduction of two new cases: a bus crash that kills several of Veronica’s classmates, and the death of PCH motorcycle gang member Felix Toombs. A school bus carrying six Neptune High students and teachers plunges off a cliff, killing all but one passenger. Veronica, who supposed to on the bus, makes it her mission to discover why the bus crashed and who responsible. Logan picks a fight with the Weevils and the PCHers and is ultimately accused of killing Felix (a charge he denies). Halfway through the season, the Weevils become convinced of Logan’s innocence and they team up to find the real killer.

This season shows Veronica’s life returning to much the way it had before Lilly’s death: after breaking up with Logan over the summer, she reunites with Duncan and somewhat accepted by the ’09ers. However, his private-eye sideline and tough persona keep him from completely assimilated back into the rich crowd. ’09ers Dick Casablancas and Cassidy “Beaver” Casablancas deal with their gold-digging stepmother, Kendall Casablancas, with whom they were abandoned when their father fled the country while under investigation for real estate fraud. Wallace discovers that his biological father is still alive, and takes a romantic interest in Jackie Cook, the daughter of baseball legend, Terrence Cook who is under investigation for a bus crash. Veronica discovers that the town’s mayor, who years ago coached a minor league baseball team, sexually assaulted several members of the team, including Cassidy “Beaver” Casablancas.
In that season’s finale, he discovered that Beaver responsible for the bus crash and Veronica’s rape, as well as the plane crash that killed the mayor (Veronica’s father supposed to be on the plane, so she thought he was dead). Veronica confronts Beaver on the roof of the Neptune Grand hotel, where he attempts to kill her. Logan saves him, but Beaver commits suicide by jumping from the roof.
Season 3
In the third and final season, Veronica, Logan, Wallace, Cindy “Mac” Mackenzie and Dick are freshmen at Neptune Hearst College. Two new regular main characters introduced: Stosh “Piz” Piznarski and Parker Lee, who are Wallace and Mac’s respective roommates. The first mystery created when Parker became the victim of Hearst’s serial rapist, a storyline starting in the second season. Feeling guilty for not helping him, and remembering her past rape, Veronica sets herself the task of catching the rapist. The next mystery, the murder of the College Dean, begins in the same episode the rapist arrested. Over the course of the season, Keith begins an adulterous affair with a married client, Wallace struggles to balance academics and sports, Mac starts dating again after a previous failed relationship, and Dick has a breakdow.
