Synopsis of the Sherlock Holmes Film
The synopsis of the film Sherlock Holmes, which released in 2009, tells the story of the adventures of Sherlock Holmes and his friend, Doctor John Watson, in hunting bad people, and in this film what they hunting an evil wizard named Lord Henry Blackwood.
The story goes that in London in 1890, Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson managed to catch Lord Blackwood who had committed a heinous act, namely killing five people in the same way. The reason for the murder carried out by Blackwood was as a ritual to increase his magic power.
Three months after Blackwood’s arrest, the sadistic wizard finally sentenced to death by the British police by hanging and declared dead by Doctor Watson. However, after Blackwood’s death, Irene Adler (Holmes’ former lover) came to Holmes and asked him to meet a man named Reordan, and after Irene’s movements were followed by Holmes, the detective found out that Irene someone’s messenger and the detective knowing that Reordan was the key to all of Blackwood’s plans.
However, three days later Blackwood’s grave destroyed and Reordan found dead in the coffin that supposed to Blackwood’s resting place. This certainly shook Holmes and Doctor Watson, especially when the gravekeeper said that he saw Blackwood rise from the grave.
Suspenseful Film
This film is very tense and also really tests logic. Because this film also explains how Sherlock Holmes solved the mystery of Blackwood’s death with his unique way of thinking and through a scientific approach. The ending of this film is certainly very impressive, because this film ends with a surprise. This film is very suitable for those of you who like the action film genre but still maintains the logic of the storyline, what’s more, this film stars top actors such as Robert Downey Jr, Jude Law, Rachel McAdams, and Mark Strong.
